In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic and our inability to host our Spring Take Out Roast Beef Dinner, Readington Reformed Church has chosen to facilitate a donation drive to help those fellow residents in our state who have been impacted by the health crisis.
We have chosen to support the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, who is providing grants to existing organizations with a demonstrated track record of caring for communities in our Garden State, and are also organizing and coordinating resources to assist these organizations.
One hundred percent of donations received by the NJPRF are being used to fight the medical, social, and economic impact of COVID-19 on New Jersey’s most vulnerable, supporting organizations that provide essential services, and aiding those on the front line of the pandemic.
As a frame of reference from our cancelled Spring Dinner, if each of us who either planned to purchase take out meals, were going to donate their time to physically work the dinner, or were going to support the dinner in a different way, we would ask you to consider the value of those contributions and make that donation to RRC of that amount for this fund drive.
All funds collected through this donation drive will be sent to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund to help those of our NJ neighbors who need our assistance. Kindly consider making a donation directly to RRC either by mailing a check or using our online donation process, stating that the donation is for NJPRF.
The deadline for contributions is June 30th, so the collected donations can be sent to NJPRF by July 4th so our neighbors in need can become more independent from this health crisis. Thank you for helping us to support others in need.
To donate on-line, click on the Donate button below and choose the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund giving category. One hundred percent of your donation will go to the NJPRF.
